About

Corporate D Photography

Corporate D is a fine art, portraiture, and professional photographer based in

Daytona Beach, Florida.

Photography is my passion. For many years I defined myself as a photographer and I had to work within some of the boundaries that, that definition puts forth. A photography is not reality, it is a representation of reality! Really I viewed myself as an artist, and I have the ability to pick and choose what I want to render. If you look at my work, it has a touch of reality and a touch of fantasy. I want to make my subjects look like gold! I let my intuition tell me when I've got the right look, or the right feel, its the creative process that takes over that really makes a photograph pop. To me lighting is very important, and most of the lighting techniques I have today are to be process of experimenting and trial and error. Because you follow your intuition and you start building a look that fits your vision as an artist. I want someone to look at my photograph and say, this is something that makes a statement and provoke some kind of emotion. But in the end, the single most important thing when I create an image is do I like it? is it for me? The need to create is built into my very DNA, I believe that most people have that in them, I'm not a brilliant creative genius, but I do have a certain vision that I am very tenacious about going after, and I'm willing to sacrifice for that, that's my strength! I'm Corporate D and I'm an artist.
